Valerie Barretto, a original singer/songwriter and South Shore native brings her full band to the New World Tavern for Valentines Day weekend. Her storyteller style brings a unique energy to her original shows making them all something worthwhile. Her music is raw, gritty, and from the heart. Just having released her debut album, “Hurt & Healing” she’s working on promoting the record, playing live, and writing new music so stay tuned! The PickPockets are a local acoustic cover band with a great energy. You may have caught them playing live around the South Shore. Their acoustic originality makes the PickPockets something special. Singalongs and unconventionally imagined song choices make them a band worth remembering.
